I have dedicated my professional career to the people of Beauregard Parish
as a Sheriff's deputy. It is a career that I care deeply for, and I feel
very fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve you.
As your next sheriff, I offer to you over 20 years of law enforcement
experience in nearly all aspects of the Sheriff's Dept. The first half of
my career I worked on the law enforcement side of the department, serving as
a correctional officer, patrol deputy and detective. I now serve in the
civil department and am currently the Sales Tax Administrator, grant
coordinator and DARE Project Director.
Beauregard Parish has been my home my entire life. I care deeply about our
Parish and I have no desire to live anywhere else. I feel that we are very
fortunate to live here, it is a relatively safe and secure place to live. I
feel that we have a very good Sheriff's Department with a lot of good
hardworking dedicated deputies that care as much as I do about our safety.
We have good working relationships with the police department, D.A.'s
office, judges and the public. It takes everyone working together to build
a safe community. Our violent crime rates are some of the lowest in the
state.
